The Standing Committee On Public Health .. <ul><li>E mphasizes the importance of public health issues in medical education and the community . </li></ul><ul><li>Being IFMSA 's largest Standing Committee, SCOPH includes an enormous number of project and activities on various issues. </li></ul><ul><li>SCOPH prides itself on a strong ‘family spirit’ of infectious motivation and dedication among its members throughout the world, whose ultimate goal is to improve health for all on this small planet! </li></ul>

T o reduce the fear of children to visit a doctor or the hospitalisation </li></ul><ul><li>2. Persuade children to eat healthy food instead of junk food as well as sweets. </li></ul><ul><li>3. C reate an atmosphere of trust where children can deal with the topic “Hospital and disease” </li></ul><ul><li>4. provides an opportunity for medical students to learn more about paediatrics and gives them a chance to work with children. </li></ul>[“ Teddy bear Project ”]
  15. 17. <ul><li>Date/Duration : 11 May – 30 September 2008 </li></ul><ul><li>[ cooperative with SCORA ] </li></ul><ul><li>Place : local hospital </li></ul><ul><li>Target Group : </li></ul><ul><li>The women who have high risk factor such as having sex at early ages or being HIV infection </li></ul><ul><li>Propose and aim of work : </li></ul><ul><li>To activate the women who have infection risks espectially having early sex. </li></ul><ul><li>T o find early changes in the cells that may need treatment so that cancer never gets a chance to develop. </li></ul><ul><li>Guide them about sex hygiene. </li></ul>[“ Pap smear Project ”]
