PhD R&D Associate Director & Head – P&G Innovation Center Procter & Gamble, India Dr. Raju Konduru is an R&D Associate Director in P&G’s Global Shave Care business managing global innovation for several of the Gillette brands, namely Guard, Prestobarba, Sensor and Blue. Raju also heads P&G’s Innovation centre in Bangalore, India. Raju has been with P&G for nearly 12 years now and has worked for their operations in Canada, US, India and China. In his current role, Raju leads a global shave care R&D team that starts with deep consumer insight and transforms that into superior products designed to delight the consumers. In his previous role, Raju had responsibility for leading P&G’s Open Innovation program in India and has built and nurtured several successful innovation partnerships with universities, government labs and prívate enterprises. Raju’s passion lies in innovating for the bottom of the pyramid, and he currently leads several global innovation platforms in P&G aimed at value-conscious consumers in Asia and Africa. Raju has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto in Canada. He has several peer-reviewed publications to his credit and has also delivered several guest lectures at multiple forums on Innovation.
