  2. 2. A Quick Trip to the Store <ul><li>Before starting this cheesecake you must make sure that you have all ingredients. </li></ul><ul><li>Make a quick trip to the store. </li></ul>

Ingredients/Measuring Utensils <ul><li>1 package of Yellow Cake Mix </li></ul><ul><li>2 Tablespoons of Crisco </li></ul><ul><li>2 packages of 8 ounce Softened cream cheese </li></ul><ul><li>¾ cup of Sugar </li></ul><ul><li>4 Eggs </li></ul><ul><li>1 ½ cup of Milk </li></ul><ul><li>3 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice </li></ul><ul><li>1 ½ teaspoon of Vanilla Extra </li></ul><ul><li>1 can of Cherry/Strawberry Topping </li></ul><ul><li>Tablespoon </li></ul><ul><li>Dry Measuring Cups </li></ul><ul><li>Liquid Measuring Cups </li></ul><ul><li>Teaspoon </li></ul><ul><li>Mixing Bowl </li></ul><ul><li>Mixing Spoon </li></ul>
  4. 4. Starting the Cheesecake <ul><li>The very first thing that must be done is to preheat the oven to 300 degrees </li></ul>
  5. 5. Making the Cheesecake <ul><li>The first step is to measure out 1 cup of dry yellow cake mix. </li></ul><ul><li>Set this cake mix aside from everything else </li></ul>
  6. 6. Making the Crust <ul><li>In a large mixing bowl stir together the remaining dry cake mix, 1 egg, and crisco oil </li></ul>
  7. 7. Crust continued…. <ul><li>Press crust evenly into a 13 by 9 by 2 inch pan </li></ul><ul><li>Go up the sides of the pan about ¾ </li></ul>
  8. 8. Making the Cream Cheese filling <ul><li>In a bowl blend 2 packages of 8 ounce cream cheese and ¾ cup of sugar together </li></ul>
  9. 9. Filling continued…… <ul><li>After blending cream cheese and sugar well, add 3 eggs and the reserved cake mix. </li></ul><ul><li>Beat 1 minute at medium speed. </li></ul>
  10. 10. Filling continued…. <ul><li>At low speed add milk, lemon juice, and vanilla extract </li></ul><ul><li>Do not add quickly but gradually mix in each ingredient. </li></ul><ul><li>Mix until smooth </li></ul>
  11. 11. Finishing Up <ul><li>Pour the filling into the already made crust </li></ul><ul><li>Bake the cheesecake on 300 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes or until center is firm </li></ul>
  12. 12. One last touch <ul><li>Let the cheesecake cool to room temperature </li></ul><ul><li>Spoon on cherry/strawberry pie filling </li></ul>
  13. 13. Cheesecake is Ready to Go <ul><li>Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour and then your ready to serve it. </li></ul>
