Equinox Fitness Clubs | Facebook | Ace In The Hole

  1. 1. TEAM CHICAGO THANK YOU Thank you to everyone for participating in the Social Media test pilot for Chicago! We have made tremendous strides within the past few months by stating our presence within the social media universe. As Equinox continues to grow into new markets, we were the first region within the company selected to adapt to one of the new markets – Facebook. The contributions and efforts have been greatly appreciated. GOAL We were given a goal to reach 2,000 Facebook likes by September 2013. Following our Social Media Boot Camp held in late March, we were already at 766 Facebook likes for the Chicago region. This would mean we would need to capture 1,234 Facebook likes within the next five months to reach our goal. On May 8, 2013, we exceeded our half way checkpoint by reaching 1,001 likes. Today, we are currently at 1,219 Facebook likes (61% to plan) and are 781 Facebook likes shy of our goal. ACE IN THE HOLE With less than two months to go, it’s time to unleash the secret weapon! We are the Chicago region with a very dynamic and powerful team, and we are going to reach the finish line together. If you are in it to win it, then please pay very close attention to see how you can participate in order to make this a huge win for the Chicago region!
  2. 2. FACEBOOK LIKE WHAT IS A FACEBOOK LIKE? The like button is a feature of social networking service Facebook, where users can like content such as status updates, comments, photos, links shared by friends, and advertisements. It is also a feature of the Facebook Platform that enables participating websites to display a button which enable sharing the site's content with friends. When a user clicks the Like button, the content appears in the News Feeds of that user's friends. The button also displays the number of users that liked each piece of content, and may show a full or partial list of those users. BREAKDOWN Facebook describes "liking" as a way for users to give positive feedback and connect with things they care about.

ROYAL FLUSH PLAY YOUR HIGHEST HAND Each and every one of you that has made it this far into the presentation has most likely invested a great deal of time, if not most of your life, into Equinox. I can speak for myself and share that I live and breathe Equinox each and every day. At this point you should be well aware what cards you hold and the outcomes of the cards you play. We’re heading for a showdown and if you want part of that jackpot, it’s time for you to play your highest hand. EQUINOX “ALL IN” Be sure to let the ones closest to you know how much you value your work, your time and your efforts by sharing what Equinox means to you. In this presentation I will provide you step-by-step instructions on how to invite your Facebook friends to the Equinox Facebook pages with a few simple clicks.

As individual clubs, we play up on those cards to continue steps forward. However as a region when working together to accomplish a common goal, we are able to make larger strides, which will result in a more efficient and effective approach to reach our goals sooner.
