  • HERE we will introduce how important it is to marry the content you promote organically with the paid aspect of Twitter. The two strategies should be aligned.
  • Think back to what goals you were trying to reach on twitter.
  • Using an analytics tool you can track how many visits to your website come from a specific source. How do you track this? Set up a tracking token for each tweet that has a link in it. The tracking token wil have source=twitter in it. Using google analytics or another marketing analytics tool, you can then go in and see how much traffic comes from each source. How does this compare to other traffic sources? What was your traffic like before you starting using twitter, and twitter promoted accounts? How to get more traffic to your site
  • ANNE – what part of twitter can we add in here to show engagement of a specific tweet? This slide can be about optimizing current tweets based on twitter data.
  • Look into your marketing analytics tool to see the number of leads from each campaign. To get even more specific with your campaigns, creating a specific tracking token for each campaign on twitter, instead of twitter as a whole, can help you improve your twitter presence for even more lead generation.
