Hilton is the premier global hospitality leader with 4,000 hotels and 300,000 team members. Recently, they set out to hire 70,000 team members annually while ensuring that candidates are treated with the same courtesy,
respect and timeliness that their hotel guests are afforded. As Randy Moses, Hilton’s VP of Worldwide
Recruitment, points out, when it comes to hiring team members responsible for working in an
environment rooted in personal relationships, the human touch in candidate interactions is critical.
Leveraging HireVue’s digital video interviewing platform with personal touches such as opening and
closing videos from Hilton staffers to candidates, Hilton’s focus on adding the human touch back to the
candidate interaction has led to a 94 percent satisfaction rate among candidates who apply to and
interview with the brand. In fact, Hilton has been able to achieve a candidate Net Promoter Score of 68,
more than double the hotel industry average of 32.
