I would like I confirm that I worked with and managed Mr Hervé Omboye when he was employed as a
Community Relations Coordinator at BHP Billiton in Franceville, Gabon between September 2008 and
December 2012 Mr Omboye’s job included the following activities:
 Building positive and meaningful relationships with the local communities and
government departments around Franceville, Akieni, Okondja, Mounana and
Lastoursville where the company was involved in manganese exploration.
 Provision of administrative support to the technical teams.
 Development and implementation of policies and procedures that guided the company’s
communication and interaction with government departments and local communities.
During his tenure with BHP Billiton Mr Omboye had proven to be a very organized and a very hard working
individual that can work independently. He is also very reliable, trustworthy, good communicator and very
willing to share his knowledge and experience with the other members of the team.
I would happily re-employ Mr Omboye as I consider him to be a valuable member of the team, who
consistently achieved good results and delivered above all expectations.
