Post Graduation Plans
After graduation my ideal plan would be to go into an industry career. I want to get into an engineering–related job first to provide myself with some
experience in that aspect of the field. I want to be selective in choosing the company that I begin my career with. I want to ensure that the company
that I choose has a program related that aids in helping their employees get advanced degrees. During my first year in my career I want to get into a
master's degree program either focusing on engineering or cyber security. I know there is a market for black women in both of those aspects of computer
science so I want to tailor myself so that I am a candidate that is highly sought after. This summer I participated in my second internship...show more

The Boeing Company offers one of the benefits that I want the most which is supporting advances degrees. The company actually has an unlimited
spending limit for a degree in STEM related fields, which is something that I know is not offered anywhere.
Update resume– Throughout Senior year I hope to have major accomplishments and assignments that I can add to my resume that will show that I am
a great candidate for any position I apply to. This should be happening all year long.| Apply for jobs– I plan for my job hunt to include companies other
than Boeing; including IBM, Microsoft, Apple, Google, JP Morgan, Bank of America, etc. This should be happening all year long.| Interview for jobs–
I plan on doing a lot of preparation for interview especially with Technical interviews so that I am never caught outside of my element and I prove that
I can accomplish anything that is thrown at me.| Hopefully receive job offers– I would like to be doing the interview process throughout the entire year
and have options by May 18th, 2013| Select the offer that best fits my ideal career path– By the time of graduation I want to know exactly where I am
going in the upcoming months| I would leave a month after graduation if I hadn't received any offers but during that time of wait I would be continuing
my job search.|

Essay about High School Graduation Day
High School Graduation Day
Many people have experienced the over whelming excitement that you feel as you approach high school graduation day, and for me, that's a day
that I will never forget. The amount of emotions that you feel on graduation day is unbelievable, and I have yet to experience anything else like it. I
can remember feeling anxious to celebrate the big day with my friends and family, while at the same time I was panicking thinking about having to
walk across the stage in front of that many people. Then, the more I thought about the reality of graduation day, I started to get curious, but nervous,
about being able to start a new chapter in my life once graduation day had passed. There are several reasons why I, still...show more content...
As the end of the night approached us, I couldn't stop thinking about how many mixed emotions I had about starting a whole new chapter in my
life. I couldn't wait to go to college, meet all new people, get a degree so that I could start my career path, but I knew that meant I had to say goodbye
to my two best friends, who were moving several hours away from me. This was one of the hardest things I had ever had to do in my life. We all cried
a little, and then made promises to keep in touch, and then we were off into the real world! I was very happy to be at this point in my life, but I was
scared deep down inside.
When I look back on this day now, I still remember every detail as if it was yesterday. I was so proud, and happy to be able to celebrate such an
amazing day with all of my friends and family. I know I will never forget how embarrassed I was walking across the stage in front of all of those
people, feeling famous after taking so many pictures, making our final memories together at our graduation parties, and then being a nervous wreck
when it was time to go out into the world without my best friends at my side. High school graduation day was a very emotional day for me, but it was

Ben enters his room and is at ease finally. The music stops and the focus is on him. The room is well lit and his head is leaned against the white
door, which gives the audience a sense of escape. As he makes his way toward the window, we see a dartboard next to his bedroom door that has
not one of the darts on the correct target. One has even found itself on the wall. Over his bed we see pictures of planes and toy planes pointed in
every direction as maybe parallel to his life. The camera holds a medium close–up as Ben looks down through his window after he takes a hesitant
walk over to that position.
Interpretation:
He feels that himself in his room with nobody else around ensures him isolation that he...show more content...
As he looks into the fish tank we see multi–colored fishes, corals and other decorations that occupy the water. At he end of the shot Ben's door is
opened and we see Mrs. Robinson in the doorway.
Interpretation:
The fishes in the fish tank display color, movement and ultimately freedom. Ben looks on as if he is craves to have this too in his own life. The
lighting becomes immense and he is therefore hopeful.
Overall Meaning:
Ben escapes the swarm of family and friends. He feels very overwhelmed and confined downstairs. His bedroom serves as his time and place for
isolation. This shows that the parents are not really concerned about his feelings or opinions. Ben does not share the same opinions about his future as
his parents have in mind. He is basically showcased as a scholar than a regular human being with a desire for acceptance.
Opening Shots: The Graduate
After Title Sequence
Shot 1–Interpretation
As Ben sits in front of the fish tank he seems to be thinking very deeply. The tank represents a sort of tranquility and peacefulness for Ben. The father's
voice is more dominating than Ben's silent cry.
"Hey, what's the matter?" was the first line in the film
This dialogue represents the father and mother asking questions as a form of human behavior but not really as a sign of individual concern. They

Graduation
Through out life people go through so many hardships. Whether it be good or bad there is always something that comes out of the situation. One of
the most exciting but yet scariest events would be graduation. For a lot of people, graduating from high school is a goal. It takes a lot of time and
effort to achieve that goal. In the long run, it opens a lot of opportunities for people to succeed. Graduation is the end of high school, and the
beginning to life. I can almost remember that day like it was yesterday, I awoke like on any other school day. It was a gorgeous May morning, therays
of sun flittered through my miniblinds blinding me as if I hadn't seen light in days. I sluggishly dragged my limp body out of...show more content...
Once I was finished, I gathered up my cap and gown and my car keys and headed out the door. All the graduates had to meet in the high school library
an hour before the ceremonies started, and I promised one of my best friends Tony that we would go together. I knocked on his back door and let
myself in like I always do. All of his family members were running throughout the house trying to get ready. I asked his mom where Tony was and
she proceeded to tell me that he was in the bathroom getting ready. I tapped on the door and walked in. He was standing in front of the mirror
with his cap and gown on. He look me straight in the eyes and said," Can you believe that we are about to graduate?" I replied," No, it really hasn't
set in yet." Tony finished getting ready, and then we left for the high school. The parking lot was filled with all the other seniors' cars. Tony and I
walked into the library ten minutes late like usual, and the principal had already started giving instructions. I found my place in line and then was all
ears. I couldn't help but look around at all the others. Smiles were plastered on their faces as if they had heard a hilarious joke. Once the principal
concluded his speech, the whole senior class paraded down the hallway to the commons in two uniform lines stopping just outside the gymnasium
doors. We could hear the band warming up and playing songs. All the people that were standing around me were bubbling

Graduation Speech Essay example
T.S. Eliot once wrote, "What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from."
Every landmark in our lives will end but there is always a beginning to an end. As each new path ends a new one begins. Graduation marks the end of
a path but as it ends a new path begins.
Life is an adventure. We started out by walking on a winding path as we entered the destination of kindergarten. As our lives ventured on down the
winding path, we met new friends and new life experiences along the way. As the path widens, we see ourselves on a countryroad. We started
elementary school and we constantly gained new knowledge to help us progress in our journey. As we continued along in our...show more content...
As the paved path merged, we found ourselves no longer walking, but driving in cars on the highway in high school. Life started to get more
challenging and things started to move at a faster pace. In this part of our lives we got to choose which way we wanted to go, left or right. We
found hardships up the steep hills and we might have stopped at many intersections. However, we always proceeded with the flow of traffic no
matter what obstacle gets in our way, we always managed to get through it. As our lives traveled on the highway, we saw others take different
roads along our journey, but we always found ourselves choosing to keep with our commitment of continuing. We all had to make pit stops along
the way through homework and projects, but it fueled us to get stronger and helped us gain knowledge to make it up those steep hills and
intersections. Finally, when graduation comes, the highway ends and merges to a new beginning as we leave our memories in the past in our
rearview mirror. Miles and miles of opportunities await us. However, each one of us has a different goal or route in life, and each of us will find
different exits along the way to fulfill our dream. Some of us will take the express lanes and continue our education through college. Some of us might
follow the freeway not knowing where fate will take us. Life isn't always easy on the freeway. Some of us might get stuck in traffic jams. Some

New Graduate Nurses Essay
Transitioning from nursing school to working in a hospital setting can be a challenging time for a new graduate. Due to the nursing shortage, new
graduate nurses are being hired with little to no experience. This is overwhelming for new nurses, especially when they are not getting adequate
support or training from the hospital. The amount of stress, pressure, and lack of training is leading to a high turnover rate for new graduate nurses.
With patient acuity on the rise, new graduate nurses that are filling these vacancies in the hospitals, need to be competent nurses to provide proper and
safe care to the patients. This article researched the competency of new graduate nurses. "Nursing competence is not only a professional standard...show

Communication includes verbal and written, as well as the ability to document data. One of the most difficult transitions, and a main stress factor, is
the new graduates' ability to communicate with the physicians. Having the ability to be a leader is a key to success. "To be an effective leader, anurse
must show collaborative teamwork, which is consistent with AACN core competencies. To fulfill this competency, new graduates must be able to
delegate to others to promote patient safety and health" (Theisen & Sandau, 2013). Conflict resolution with team members and patients was a noted as
a skill that new graduates lacked. "Several new graduates expressed concern that they were unprepared to deal with conflict appropriately and
professionally" (Theisen & Sandau, 2013). Due to the lack of experience, new graduates are unfamiliar with the proper ways to deal with conflict
successfully. Mentorship has been an effective way in improving new graduates confidence in dealing with conflict, because they were guided through
real situations. Organization, prioritization, and time management was another identified problem. The ability to prioritize patient care, which has a
direct effect on patient safety, is a critical component of nursing. "Both new graduates and employers have

  • 6. Graduation Speech Essay example T.S. Eliot once wrote, "What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from." Every landmark in our lives will end but there is always a beginning to an end. As each new path ends a new one begins. Graduation marks the end of a path but as it ends a new path begins. Life is an adventure. We started out by walking on a winding path as we entered the destination of kindergarten. As the paved path merged, we found ourselves no longer walking, but driving in cars on the highway in high school. Life started to get more challenging and things started to move at a faster pace. In this part of our lives we got to choose which way we wanted to go, left or right. We found hardships up the steep hills and we might have stopped at many intersections. However, we always proceeded with the flow of traffic no matter what obstacle gets in our way, we always managed to get through it. As our lives traveled on the highway, we saw others take different roads along our journey, but we always found ourselves choosing to keep with our commitment of continuing. However, each one of us has a different goal or route in life, and each of us will find different exits along the way to fulfill our dream. Some of us might get stuck in traffic jams. Some Get more content on HelpWriting.net

"To be an effective leader, anurse must show collaborative teamwork, which is consistent with AACN core competencies. To fulfill this competency, new graduates must be able to delegate to others to promote patient safety and health" (Theisen & Sandau, 2013). Conflict resolution with team members and patients was a noted as a skill that new graduates lacked. "Several new graduates expressed concern that they were unprepared to deal with conflict appropriately and professionally" (Theisen & Sandau, 2013). Due to the lack of experience, new graduates are unfamiliar with the proper ways to deal with conflict successfully. Mentorship has been an effective way in improving new graduates confidence in dealing with conflict, because they were guided through real situations. Organization, prioritization, and time management was another identified problem.
