If you see things out of the corner of your eye, know others feelings before they’ve told you, have a fascination with past lives, angels, or a strong pull towards the healing and intuitive arts, you are a sensitive.

You’ve been described through your life as ‘too sensitive.’ You feel the feelings of other people to the point of physical pain. You avoid confrontation; have the ability to see the truth and a fascination for your sense of life purpose. Heidi will show you what it means to be an Intuitive Sensitive and how to use the best of your abilities.

  1. 1. Reiki Share Evening, February 2014 with Heidi Sawyer www.HeidiSawyer.com
  2. 2. The Life of the Sensitive Burden Bearer
  3. 3. The burden bearer – what is it?
  4. 4. • The sensitive who absorbs the thoughts, feelings and emotions of another individual • They are easily overwhelmed by the continual flow of sensory data
  5. 5. • They find it difficult to define their own sore spots from the continual bombardment of other people • They have generally a lack of self- belief • They assume their sensitivity is weird
  6. 6. The lack of self-acceptance leads to: • Poor self-image • Low self-esteem • Distrust in own perceptions
  7. 7. What they sense and feel is going on below the level of other people’s consciousness physically, emotionally, and spiritually
  8. 8. Therefore… As a child the ‘burden bearing’ sensitive may have experienced • • • Rejection Mockery Dismissal
  9. 9. Which leads to: Protecting yourself, shutting down
  10. 10. Reactions to Sensitivity
  11. 11. Highly sensitive people have one of two reactions
  12. 12. Is to follow the intuitive directive to ‘help make things better’. They throw themselves into ‘fixing’ whatever and whomever they consider needs fixing.
  13. 13. OR They withdraw because there is too much pain out there. They believe trying to fix things is futile so remove themselves from the source of pain. People!
  14. 14. Making things better no matter what
  15. 15. Leads to: Undisciplined compassion Undisciplined compassion lacks strength, wisdom, or direction Eventually resulting in – burnout!
  16. 16. The desire for deep development comes:
  17. 17. When you become more self-responsible Have forgiven aspects of life in order to move forward Have balanced the basics of personal healing and intuition
  18. 18. Have moved on from / in the process of removing yourself from damaging situations Have had ‘enough’ of repeating scenarios and patterns Want to move your consciousness into a more fulfilling life
  19. 19. The Journey to begin your profound development has three parts:
  20. 20. The three crucial areas: 1. Mind management 2. Transition 3. The Soul Realisation
  21. 21. Chakras on the Tree of Life Crown Third Eye Throat Heart Solar Plexus Sacral Root

Mind Management Mental Body Astral Body Physical Body Lower Nature (self) The 3 Stages of Soul Progression
  25. 25. What is Mind Management? The controlling of the mind mess Overriding negative thought patterns over and above affirmations Tackling the source of mind chatter rather than the result
  26. 26. It’s not just about telling yourself to be quiet It’s about transcending ‘you’re not enough’
  27. 27. To allow the soul vibration to harmonise with the Personality You can then properly access the layers of the transcendent self
  28. 28. The Journey to Mind Management The Super Contemplative State Meditation
  29. 29. 2.Transition What is transition? The next stage of the development process A period of mind steadiness and waiting
  30. 30. During this time you can become: Incensed with a feeling of frustration Powerlessness Nothing is moving You’ve done the work but nothing feels as though it’s changed
  31. 31. Truth is… Everything has changed It’s the ‘ego’ self which is frustrated It’s been previously constantly entertained and demands attention
  32. 32. An unmanaged transition Means you deteriorate into emotional blankness The seeds of the ego sprout
  33. 33. 3.The Soul Realisation Stage of true self awareness and spiritual growth This is the stage all committed Sensitive people want to attain
  34. 34. It takes: Time Effort Dedication to the self and the bigger picture A desire to contribute to the wider picture FREE of the victim vibration
  35. 35. Soul Realisation IS...
  36. 36. Soul Realisation IS... The state where the personality responds to the soul frequency
  37. 37. Soul Realisation IS... The state where the personality responds to the soul frequency The personality is no longer frightened
