Are you currently in lockdown and finding yourself overworking? Follow these ten steps to prevent yourself from working longer hours:

During the working day:
1) Set strict ‘office hours’
2) Be clear on what your key priorities are each day
3) Say no to or delay unnecessary tasks
4) Communicate your work schedule to those you live with
5) Minimise in-work distractions
6) Set a lunch hour and stick to it

Once the working day is over:
7) Finish working at your usual end time
8) Switch off your work devices
9) Do something for yourself – e.g. cooking or exercise
10) Reflect on your daily achievements
