An energetic yoga form initially developed by Beryl Bender Birch as a type of Ashtanga yoga, power yoga now encompasses a variety of Vinyasa styles. They share an emphasis on vigorous exercise and help development of increased flexibility, stamina, strength.

Power Flow Yoga  The term Vinyasa means “to move without resistance,” and flow yoga incorporates cross- training and interval repetitions that connect with both anaerobic and aerobic systems. As the basic sequence becomes familiar to regular practitioners, duration and intensity are altered in ways that work on specific areas of the body. With students paying attention to their breathing and the way it synchronizes with their movements, power yoga is effective not only in working out muscles but also in building internal heat.
