In addition to her online entrepreneurship, she works as a bookseller at Barnes and Noble, and is pursuing her BA in psychology at Penn State. Hayley Ninnis also recently completed Power Yoga Works’ 200-hour training program in power vinyasa yoga to become certified as a registered yoga teacher. Power vinyasa yoga combines deep breathing and precisely organized sets of yoga positions to help build strength, release tension, increase endurance, and enhance flexibility.

Power Yoga Works’ 200-hour teacher training certification is open to all students, and can be customized to fit individual schedules. The Malvern, Pennsylvania facility typically begins the first semester in February, the second in May, and the third in October, conducting classes for a total of 12 hours each weekend for five consecutive weekends. Thus, each semester consists of 60 hours of contact training; the balance of 20 hours is completed on a non-contact basis.
  3. 3.  The first semester trains students to teach beginner power yoga flow. The second semester focuses on advanced power yoga flow, and the third, power yoga sculpt with weights. The 20 hours of non-contact training can be self-directed, but should be in yoga, anatomy, or physiology. Because of the way the training is structured, many students start teaching beginning yoga locally after just the first semester, although formal certification is not granted until the entire 200-hour course is completed.
