Equalization Basin <ul><li>Designed to eliminate need to discharge raw sewage into the Maumee River during heavy rains. </li></ul><ul><li>Will hold wastewater at “peak” times when flow of waste exceeds sewer system capacity. </li></ul><ul><li>When the rain lets up, wastewater in the basin sent to plant for treatment </li></ul>

Force Main Sewer <ul><li>New sewer from Beverly pump station on west side of Anthony Wayne Trail down Brookford to the Equalization Basin </li></ul><ul><li>To be located on south side of Brookford </li></ul><ul><li>Shouldn’t disturb street – except for crossings at OLPH and Island Avenue </li></ul><ul><li>Traffic maintained </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Will work with committee to minimize disruption </li></ul></ul>

New Relief Sewers <ul><li>From River Road, Midland or Hemlock down River Road to Brookford </li></ul><ul><ul><li>New water line will be installed at same time </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Should help resolve water pressure problems </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Preferred sewer location is in east lane of River Road </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Discussion </li></ul></ul></ul>
