Question 3

 1. 2.

The feedback we received initially was through uploading our music video on you tube and the comments on the video, this gave us a wider insight into the views and opinions of our audience. Another form of feedback that we got was from a focus group of 20 16-24 year olds and we had a series of questions which would in turn tell us their views and opinions. On you tube we residences 240 plus views in the space of 5 days.

 2. 3.

The statistics shown to us by you tube showed us that 52% of the audience was women and 48% was men. This is great news as the figuers are preety similar and that was the aim as the idea of female independence attracted the female audience and the seductive nature of thr whole video attracted the male audience.

 3. 4.

The statisttics also showed that not only did the video appeal to the 16-24 year old audience it also appealed to an older audience which is great news as it means that the atrist would appeal to a wider audience and turn would be more succesfull. However the readings are still early and it would be hard tell if there would be any fluctuations arising in the future.

 4. 5. Did our music appeal to you?

90% said yes

10% said no

The 10% who said the music did not appeal to them suggested that they didn’t understand the words hence they didn’t understand the narritive of the language. 5. 6. Did the music follow the reggae genre?

100% said yes

This was great news as it showed that we had done a good job of getting the narrative correct and build a reputation.

 6. 7. Would you watch the video more than once?

80% said yes

20% said no

The 20% argued that the reason they wouldn’t watch it again is the fact that the video became a little repetitive.

 7. 8. Does the music video attract you to purchase the cd?

75% yes

25% no

This is an indication that the design on my cd cover was appealing as well as the music video and if placed in a mainstream market it would sell.
