This year's ART RIGA, one of most important events in the Baltic art calendar, will take place on November 7-12. VIP PRIVATE BANKING and Media Opening Day is November 8. Contemporary Art galleries from as far afield as Mexico and Indonesia are taking part – alongside galleries from China, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia, Georgia, Kazahstan and host nation Latvia. ART RIGA 2017 will again be held in the historic Latvian Railway History Museum in the city-centre. ART RIGA was established in 2014 to mark Riga's status as European Capital of Culture, with transactions exceeding half a million euros.
ART RIGA FAIR social mission is to provoke viewers on art conversation. Conference cycle ART RIGA 2017 will have an expanded programme of talks and events, playing host to international art professionals, institutions, galleries, publishers, media, collectors and art-lovers. There were several large-scale art events: exhibitions, performance actions, seminars, corporative events, lectures, film forum, workshops. 500 chairs, AUDIO, VIDEO SYSTEMS, WIFI, Wine Cafe, new Art bookselling. A multilingual press centre will be in operation throughout the Fair, and there will be live broadcasting on the Web.
Each Year we offer selection of over 1000 paintings, sculptures, graphical high quality works, covering all price segments from well-known blue-chip artists to the newest young and emerging contemporary artists. This is a collection of high quality works of recognised professionals and contemporaries in art that will become classics.
