RCE North Rift as a Network
• The Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE)
North Rift is a network of environmental
organizations currently coordinated by the
University of Eldoret.
• RCE North Rift was duly recognized by
the United Nations University on the 8th
of December 2016.
• Min role: to co-ordinate and implement
Education for Sustainable development in
Climate Actions Focusing on environment.

mandates:

developers in the region,

University of Eldoret and North
Rift RCE network.
The university of Eldoret through its strategic
objectives on environmental sustainability,

linking with communities around its environ
in achieving this mandate.
These are interlinked with both short term
and long term objectives of the North Rift
RCE;
