The Dobong Residents Sunshine-sharing Power Plant meets Obstacles 17 ■ High price for the real estate - Seoul is one of the most expensive cities for the real estate in the world. - It is difficult to secure space to install solar power generation facilities. ■ Burden of initial investment costs - It takes about 3 million won to install 1kW solar power generation facility. (Unit 1: 20kW, cost 60 million won) ■ Lack of consensus on solar power project - Skeptical response to solar power project (Lack of experience in solar power generation project, profitability to investment cost, etc.)
  18. 18. 18 The Dobong Residents Sunshine-sharing Power Plant builds a foothold for growth Administrative and institutional support - Site support for public building solar installation - Supporting administrative tasks such as business procedures, licenses and administrative paper works - Supports accreditation of establishment of social cooperatives Financial support - Community Development Fund (KRW 29 million) Social support - Establishment of a public-private cooperation window (related parties meeting, information exchange, etc.) - Promoting the solar power project -> Increasing the number of participants by positive perception change Giving a birth to the Dobong Residents Sunshine-sharing Power Plant
