  3. 3. 3 WHAT IS AN LRDP? • A physical plan that embodies the goals and requirements of UHMC • Supports and directs future physical improvements and growth of the campus • Guides the UH Board of Regents in carrying out its capital improvement planning and budgeting responsibilities
  4. 4. 4 WHY IS THE LRDP BEING UPDATED? • To address foreseeable changes (e.g., Voc Tech facilities, Pu‘uhonua creation) • Prioritize near-term projects • Provide an up-to-date facilities plan and vision for future campus that reflects campus values and aspirations
