  9. 9. How does this fit in with Havas Lynx’s vision? Every day our world changes. Advances in technology, turns in economic fortune and, most importantly, people cause the environment we live in to change. At LYNX, our people strive to instigate change that makes things better and not just different. Our clients trust us to develop compelling brands and thoughtful strategies that build lasting relationships. In doing so we connect professionals and patients with the knowledge, tools and services they need to better achieve their goals. Our heritage dates to 1986 and whilst the world around us has changed since then, our values haven’t. Only nowadays we have the global footprint and years of industry experience to add credence to our motto: helpful change.

  32. 32. Encourage the use of more video conferencing — One of the initiatives being pushed by the environmental team is to increase our use of video conferencing - This initiative is supposed to supplement face-to-face meetings, not replace them — Some of you have already been lucky enough to receive this training so please use your new knowledge within your teams to encourage more people
  33. 33. Advantages to video conferencing — Reliability, have the meeting regardless of weather, travel delays or other “acts of God” — Increase productivity, have as many meetings as you need to get the job done — Increased efficiency, be in two places at the same time — Save time, no need to travel for hours to have an effective meeting — Improve morale, travelling is tiring and people don’t always get to go to exotic places — Save money, no need for plane/ train tickets, hire cars, taxis, hotels, meals etc. - Convenience, easily bring in additional personnel — Charity, for every VC that replaces a face-to-face meeting, the directors have very kindly offered to donate £100 to a charity of the client’s choice
  34. 34. Plastic bags — How many plastic bags does Havas Lynx use every day? — People use too many plastic bags resulting in a copious waste of resources, and an island of plastic in the Pacific Ocean — The government is issuing a 5p charge for plastic bags from October 2015
  35. 35. Bag for Life THE SOLUTION You have received a Havas Lynx Bag for Life — Use this to minimise your impact on the environment — Use this to save money (after October) UY3.l'H9|HH ‘TEA&t. £29;” §§'§3iKKiEs§§§ ; ;§5:3L‘. .:'%”*1n-|9,E,33 -<Hank! '.Marvin€
