  2. OCT 2022 © SHEFFIELD HALLAM UNIVERSITY 2025 13 Strengths: Your tone and pace were good. Some of your slides had some nice diagrams – utilise this more to capture the audience. You linked key skills gained from your roles. Generally confident answers to your questions, which ended up revealing more about your future career aspirations – it was nice to see you have a clear plan about the PA role and how you will try to move into this. Suggestions for Improvement: Presentation was only 4 minutes long, try to practice the presentation more in order to meet the timing requirements. You had a lot of text on the slides, which often results in the presenter reading directly off the slides or skipping through too quickly which means the audience can’t take in the info – I would suggest reducing the amount of text on the slides and practicing speaking around the topic. Ended abruptly, try to add a clear, defined conclusion. Some points where you lost your train of thought in answers to the questions but you were able to take a moment and think about the question to deliver a good answer. Student comments for Feed-forward (how will you use this feedback to improve your future work?): I understand I need to work on my communication skills and talk a little slower. I also should have included my older work experiences I completed during my time at college as they were relevant and also linked to my future career aspirations. I should have also shortened my bullet points so the text is more concise. Signed: R Bradshaw Date: 24/01/23
