MY AIM IS: To apply for biomedical scientist (band 5) graduate entry jobs
preferably in the NHS.

What problems am I likely to face?
As I live in Rotherham, I ideally would prefer to find a job nearby however, I know this isn’t
always possible as there aren’t many scientist jobs available here and when there are they
usually go very quickly. As someone who will have just newly graduated, I may not have
as much experience as another individual.
What will I do to overcome these and what help/support is available?
I need to make sure I prepare myself for interviews and make a good impressions as well
as be open to travel further away as there may be other opportunities that I’m interested in
that just require me to travel further. I also need to keep my options open and look at other
sectors that may be of interest to me.
