Power Point of Water Energy

  1. 1. Jacint Amile2 ESO Guillem RiveraENGLISH Mia VelascoENERGIES! Clara Maschio
  2. 2. Definition of energy: Energy is the capacity of a system to do work. That system may be a jet, carrying hundreds of passengers across the ocean. A baby’s body, growing bone cells. A kite, rising on the wind. Or a wave of light crossing a space. In moving or growing, each of these systems is doing work, and using energy. Every living organism does work, and needs energy from food or photosynthesis. Humans also create machines that do work for them, and that derive energy from fuels.
  3. 3. Differences between renewable energy and non-renewable energy: Renewable energy is energy generated from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable. Non-renewable energy is energy, taken from "finite resources that will eventually dwindle, becoming too expensive or too environmentally damaging to retrieve", as opposed to renewable energy sources , which "are naturally replenished in a relatively short period of time.
  4. 4. Why we need to use renewable energy? Its generation and use does notcontribute to the degradation of ourenvironment as with traditionalenergy sources. Do not pollute. Forthe user of the significant economicbenefits obtained. Because ofdevelopments in technology allowsus to use systems with highperformance and low cost, thusreaching a discounted paybackperiods on investment. Becausethereby contribute to genuinesustainable development. And for avery simple principle, greater powerto perpetuate the legacy of ourancestors, the environment for ourchildren to receive at least as we didto our parents, and generallycontribute to a better world.
  5. 5. What is water energy? The water energy is the relationship between how much water is evaporated to generate and transmit energy, and how much energy it takes to collect, clean, move, store, and dispose of water.
  6. 6. Organization of the group: We worked in group and we divided the work:- Guillem and Jacint did “ where energy comes from “andthe design of the blogger. They choose the three games. -Mia and Clara did the power point and the exercise of theenergies.
  7. 7. Any advice for the next group work : Do the work in group Organized days before We help of the group Omar Mia Guillem Clara Jacint
  8. 8. That we learned? have learned to work in groups We learned that is water energy We learned that the energy of the sea can do electricity We learned that is energy Differences between renewable and nonrenewable.
  9. 9. As we do to help our planet? Here I write some things which we can do to curb climatechange:* Say NO to plastic bags. Each year we distributed morethan 2 billion and only 3% is recycled. Try to bring yourown bag to the supermarket. Surely you will look weirdor nerdy but you contribute to saving the planet.* No use Styrofoam cups or plates, the Styrofoam is notrecycled and is one of the biggest polluters on the planet,it takes over 500 years to decompose. Currently there areenvironmentally friendly products made from potato orcorn starch and can be purchased at Wal-Mart.* Place two full bottles in the toilet box, so every time youpull on the lever, will save 2 to 4 liters of water!...
