  2. 2. One warm spring day Stephen the Blue Iguana went to the dry forest in Grand Cayman for a well deserved holiday. On the way he saw a lady Iguana digging a hole to lay here eggs. Stephen thought he was in love but he wasn’t really<br />
  3. 3. Than a blue iguana jumped out of the trees, his name was Fred. Fred was 1.5m long and he weighed 14kg. <br />
  4. 4. Then suddenly the sun went down. Stephen said “where are you?” Fred just laughed. “We can’t see each other because it’s night time” Stephen said “but why can we see in the morning”.Well, that’s because it is the way we are made.” <br />
  5. 5. And along cAlong came a snake. I havn’t seem you around here before. Who are you? Our names are Stephen and Fred and we are Blue Iguana’s. Stephen and Fred started telling the snake all about themselves.  <br />ame a snake. We have’t seen you. Than Fred and Stephen started talling the snack all about them. <br />
  6. 6. We eat plants, fruits and flowers. Fred said, “we can live for about 60 years and the longest living blue iguana lived for 67 years!” . <br />
  7. 7. we are the longest living lizard , we are one third bigger than females, we were thought to be extinct in 2005 but look we are still here and we are sadly on the red of extinct. <br />
  8. 8. When they got to the dry forest it was cut down and Stephen and Fred saw farms, homes and buildings being built over their home<br />
  9. 9. Stephen and Fred where both angry and sad that their habitat was being destroyed. <br />
  10. 10. . It was time to find a new home where we would be protected. <br />
  11. 11. In the distance Stephen saw a sign that read <br />“SAVE THE BLUE IGUANA FROM LOOSING THEIR HOME. WE WILL PROTECT THEM!” <br />
  12. 12. That day on Stephen and Fred lived a wild life sanctuary protected from humans.<br />
