It is often said that it is in centre midfield that football matches are won or lost.
You will need to be a strong tackler to win the ball back and have the skill to create
opportunities for the strikers ahead of you.
15 year old Eeron McSween exudes the talent and stamina that this position calls
for. She will join Team Grenada ahead of the CONCACAF U17 Women’s
Championship March 3-13th.
She expressed her excitement to represent the Spice Isle saying, “I am Grenadian to
my heart. I am excited to be playing for my country.”
Eeron was born to Lerryl and Devon McSween. Lerryl who is from Woodlands
attended the St. Louis RC Girls and Anglican High Schools, while Devon from
Birchgrove attended the Birchgrove RC School then Grenville Secondary.
They also head two churches in Grenada; the Faith Deliverance Tabernacles Rhema
in Mont Tout and Windsor Forest.
Eeron herself is no stranger to Grenada as she attended the St. Louis RC Girls
School up to grade five (5).
Her coaches at Science Skills High School Center in New York are confident in her
ability as a capable midfielder.
