PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have worked within the telecommunication industry all my professional life for which I have
spent the last +20 years overseas. I’m a good listener and communicate very well with others and
gaining trust and building good relationships with customers & co-workers. I’m very organized in
my work, which I take very seriously. I have very good technical knowledge and I’m a fast learner.
I’m able to work under tremendous pressure and adapt quickly to different and sometimes difficult
environments. I can work almost anywhere, and can mobilize with a short notice.
RECENT ACHIVEMENTS
Vietnam – VNM Full Turn Key project
As Ran / Tran project manager where we successfully implemented Ph1a to Ph3 of 841 + 132
RBS sites with transmission meeting all deadline targets. As transmission manager for south,
(Ph1a - 485 sites) I built up a strong team to support a RBS swap-out and to recovery of the
transmission network which have not been used for more than 1 year.
Bangladesh Warid Full Turn Key
As transmission project manager position I handled the roll-out of the Access, SDH Backbone
& POI transmission radio network. I also spent allot of time supporting the design process &
product training.
China (Beijing
I managed and carried out product certifications & trials in north ASIA region. Out of a wide
spectrum of technologies. ASON, MSAN, Layer 2 DATA over SDH. I also managed the
Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) manager for. Sales cost estimates, writing Service Level
Agreements (SLA) according to customer requirements.
Singapore
I built up a strong Pre & post-sales technical team in Singapore, which I used to Support
SingTel during their roll-out and warranty support, in a SDH network with over 4000 Network
Elements. The team was also engaged in pre-sales activities supporting the technical proposals
for various tender submissions for ASEAN region.
