More about Karen Schiff

Karen Schiff is co-founder of Ecobunga! (www.ecobunga.com), an online directory listing hundreds of green giveaways and deals with over 10,000 eco-conscious shoppers on their newsletter, Facebook, RSS and Twitter feeds.

Ecobunga! launched in 2008 and is a Green America approved business. http://www.ecobunga.com.

Schiff is responsible for content and marketing and has reviewed thousands of green promotions, screening each to ensure that the listing is truly a green, genuine deal. She and her business partner launched Ecobunga! in response to research which showed ‘cost’ as the top impediment to people buying green—so they decided if the price was not right—they’d find them a deal!

Schiff’s professional career spans a number of years and includes Yoyodyne an internet promotions company founded by marketing expert Seth Godin. She also was creative director and writer for Live Marketing, a corporate tradeshow agency and product manager for Match.com. She served as the Director of Online Community for TechTV, a cable network devoted to technology.
