This document discusses the past, present, and future of education. It outlines how the education market has shifted from primarily public schools pre-2000 to a more diverse landscape today. Major drivers of this change include freedom of choice, jobs of the future, differentiated learning, and open access to knowledge. The future of education is described as moving beyond traditional constraints of time, space, subjects, and age to focus more on deeper learning, student engagement, and curiosity. Technology is presented as an enabler of change, not the primary driver, with designers and dreamers expanding possibilities. Seven big levers are identified for shaping the future, like measuring what we value and modernizing teacher education.
