MacBooks.• MacBooks are the entry level for many into the Apple way of computing and though they are considerably more expensive than “normal” laptops, the reputation and reliability of these little gems ensures they sell in their millions every year.
The MacBook Air The MacBook Air was first unveiled in 2008 and is a first in that it has a solid state hard drive as opposed to the more traditional disc based models. What that means is that the Air notebook is extremely light and is less prone to HDD failure due to no moving parts in the storage department.
Mac MiniThe Mac Mini retails for around €700 but does not come with amonitor. A lot of people use it as a media streamer/server,connecting it directly to their TV and viewing content directlyfrom the Internet or from another Apple computer elsewhere inthe home. This device came on-stream in 2005.
