School of Environmental Studies Apple Valley, Minnesota LEED O+M Scorecard Gold 69/100 A five-year effort between the School of Environmental Studies (SES) and USGBC Minnesota led to the development and benchmarking of sustainability strategy and incorporated the hard work of over 40 SES students - resulting in the first LEED v4.1 O+M Certification for a school and the first LEED certification led by students. The project focused on benchmarking the school’s performance with Arc and student-led improvement projects, including applying green cleaning and energy efficiency best practices and waste management efforts.
