What is GLO Meditation
GLO Meditation offers onsite meditation wellness workshops for corporations, hotels and resorts, upscale living
communities, sports teams, talent, private groups, individuals and events including “Meditate and Mingle”
mixers.
GLO Meditation is a non-religious, 30-60 minutes of meditation. We create a welcoming non judgmental space
for all to come and experience meditation at their own level. At the beginning of each session, the facilitator will
help guide the group into a state of relaxation; once achieved the individual will focus on self awareness,
consciousness, mindfulness and breathing. During this time the individual will learn the tools needed for
meditating on their own. We then close with positive suggestions and affirmations for the individual to carry with
them throughout the day.
“GLO” stand for showing G.ratitude, L.ove and O.neness for humanity as well as accepting Gratitude, Love, and
O.neness from others.

community? Anyway that you can contribute would be greatly
appreciated it. Whether it be allowing us to use your venue during
non business hours for group sessions, donating yoga mats,
beverages, referencing us in an article or blog, P.R opportunities,
hosting a Meditate & Mingle event or sponsoring a specific
workshop. Our goal is to be able to share the benefits of meditation
to everyone and anyone. It can change lives and there are many
scientific studies solidifying the benefits of meditation. We would
love for you to join us on working together to build a society of self
aware, conscious minded and compassionate human beings. We
truly believe that if you give with good intentions the benefits will
always find a way back to you.
Understanding Meditation
Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to
realize some benefit or for the mind to simply acknowledge its content without becoming identified with that
content.
Meditation often involves an internal effort to self-regulate the mind in some way. Meditation is often used to
clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure,depression, and anxiety.
As stated by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, a U.S. government entity within
the National Institutes of Health that advocates various forms of Alternative Medicine, "Meditation may be
practiced for many reasons, such as to increase calmness and physical relaxation, to improve psychological
balance, to cope with illness, or to enhance overall health and well-being.”
OBJECTIVES OF THE
GLO MEDITATION WORKSHOPS
• 1) INCREASE PEOPLE'S EXPERIENCES BY INTRODUCING THEM TO THE PRACTICE OF MEDITATION.
• 2) EDUCATE THE ATTENDEES ON WHAT MEDITATION IS AND THE OVERALL BENEFITS TO THEIR
TOTAL WELL BEING.
• 3) OFFER AN ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL PHYSICAL FITNESS/YOGA PROGRAMS, FOR PEOPLE
WITH INJURIES OR PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS THE OPPORTUNITY TO STILL PARTICIPATE IN A GROUP
WORKSHOP..
• 4) ATTENDEES LEAVE WITH A UNIQUE RELAXING EXPERIENCE, THAT WILL HAVE THEM SHARING
VIA WORD OF MOUTH AND SOCIAL MEDIA WITH THEIR FAMILY, FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS AND
NETWORKS.
• 5) CREATE A WELCOMING, NON- JUDGMENTAL, OPEN SPACE FOR ALL TO COME AND EXPERIENCE
MEDITATION.
• 6) OUR GOAL IS THAT THE ATTENDEES WILL PRACTICE AND SHARE MEDITATION WITH OTHERS.

RESEARCHERS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN DISCOVERED THAT
MEDITATION BENEFICIALLY INCREASES THE NEURAL “GRAY MATTER

Meditation’s effect on the brain can be broken up into
two categories: state changes and trait changes,
respectively alterations in brain trait changes have also
been observed in neuroimaging studies, most often
employing fMRI. These changes were distinguished
by density increases in grey matter regions and white
matter pathways in the brains of individuals who
meditate in comparison to individuals who do not. Of
all areas with reported findings, a greater number of
structural changes were found in the left hemisphere.

just the beginning of my new journey and I am extremely excited to share everything I have learned and
practiced throughout the years. It has changed my life and I want others to experience the same benefits. I am
just starting out, and have tremendous passion and huge visions for GLO Meditation. I know that as long as I
focus on all the positive and continue to truly care about others, including you, that I will succeed. My heart,
mind and soul are completely devoted to making a difference in people’s lives.

As a society of people, we should care about humanity, our world and
making an effort to reflect before reacting. By practicing conscious
awareness in our lives, we are positively affecting not only our own
lives, but the lives of people we associate with as a byproduct. If we
can share the GLO to just one person, we can make a difference.
Sharing the “GLO” simply means to show G.ratitude, L.ove and O.
neness to humanity as well as accepting Gratitude, Love, and
Oneness from others. If we can imagine living in a world where
people feel appreciated, heard and accepted for who they are, I
believe there would be less anger, resentment, and depression;
therefore less violence in our workplace, less bullying in our schools,
less conflict with our loved ones, and more peace and acceptance
within ourselves.

What is GLO Meditation GLO Meditation offers onsite meditation wellness workshops for corporations, hotels and resorts, upscale living communities, sports teams, talent, private groups, individuals and events including “Meditate and Mingle” mixers. GLO Meditation is a non-religious, 30-60 minutes of meditation. We create a welcoming non judgmental space for all to come and experience meditation at their own level. At the beginning of each session, the facilitator will help guide the group into a state of relaxation; once achieved the individual will focus on self awareness, consciousness, mindfulness and breathing. During this time the individual will learn the tools needed for meditating on their own. We then close with positive suggestions and affirmations for the individual to carry with them throughout the day. “GLO” stand for showing G.ratitude, L.ove and O.neness for humanity as well as accepting Gratitude, Love, and O.neness from others.
  • 3. HOST/SPONSOR/DONATE GLO Meditation Wellness Workshops Would you like a contribute to sharing the G.L.O with our community? Anyway that you can contribute would be greatly appreciated it. Whether it be allowing us to use your venue during non business hours for group sessions, donating yoga mats, beverages, referencing us in an article or blog, P.R opportunities, hosting a Meditate & Mingle event or sponsoring a specific workshop. Our goal is to be able to share the benefits of meditation to everyone and anyone. It can change lives and there are many scientific studies solidifying the benefits of meditation. We would love for you to join us on working together to build a society of self aware, conscious minded and compassionate human beings. We truly believe that if you give with good intentions the benefits will always find a way back to you.

Understanding Meditation Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or for the mind to simply acknowledge its content without becoming identified with that content. Meditation often involves an internal effort to self-regulate the mind in some way. Meditation is often used to clear the mind and ease many health concerns, such as high blood pressure,depression, and anxiety. As stated by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, a U.S. government entity within the National Institutes of Health that advocates various forms of Alternative Medicine, "Meditation may be practiced for many reasons, such as to increase calmness and physical relaxation, to improve psychological balance, to cope with illness, or to enhance overall health and well-being.”

OBJECTIVES OF THE GLO MEDITATION WORKSHOPS • 1) INCREASE PEOPLE'S EXPERIENCES BY INTRODUCING THEM TO THE PRACTICE OF MEDITATION. • 2) EDUCATE THE ATTENDEES ON WHAT MEDITATION IS AND THE OVERALL BENEFITS TO THEIR TOTAL WELL BEING. • 3) OFFER AN ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL PHYSICAL FITNESS/YOGA PROGRAMS, FOR PEOPLE WITH INJURIES OR PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS THE OPPORTUNITY TO STILL PARTICIPATE IN A GROUP WORKSHOP.. • 4) ATTENDEES LEAVE WITH A UNIQUE RELAXING EXPERIENCE, THAT WILL HAVE THEM SHARING VIA WORD OF MOUTH AND SOCIAL MEDIA WITH THEIR FAMILY, FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS AND NETWORKS. • 5) CREATE A WELCOMING, NON- JUDGMENTAL, OPEN SPACE FOR ALL TO COME AND EXPERIENCE MEDITATION. • 6) OUR GOAL IS THAT THE ATTENDEES WILL PRACTICE AND SHARE MEDITATION WITH OTHERS.

BY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF WHAT SCIENTISTS CALL “NEUROPLASTICITY”, RESEARCHERS FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN DISCOVERED THAT MEDITATION BENEFICIALLY INCREASES THE NEURAL “GRAY MATTER THICKNESS” OF CERTAIN BRAIN REGIONS.   • 8. Brain Activity and Meditation Highlighted region shows the anterior cingulate cortex, a region of the brain shown to be activated during meditation. Meditation’s effect on the brain can be broken up into two categories: state changes and trait changes, respectively alterations in brain trait changes have also been observed in neuroimaging studies, most often employing fMRI. These changes were distinguished by density increases in grey matter regions and white matter pathways in the brains of individuals who meditate in comparison to individuals who do not. Of all areas with reported findings, a greater number of structural changes were found in the left hemisphere.
