Les étudiants de Glendon ont un avantage compétitif : il n’y a que 1/10 adultes en Ontario qui parlent l’anglais et le français, ce qui vous donne de la mobilité mondiale. Dans un monde complexe, nous avons besoin de leaders : 55% des leaders, de 30 pays et de tous secteurs confondus, sont diplomés en arts libéraux. The advantages of studying at a small university include small class sizes, personal attention from professors, and excellent networking opportunities.

What is a Liberal Arts Education? ● Humanities – includes art, literature, linguistics, philosophy, religion, ethics, modern foreign languages, music, theater, speech, classical languages (Latin/Greek) etc. ● Social sciences – includes history, psychology, law, sociology, politics, gender studies, anthropology, economics, geography, business informatics, etc. ● Natural sciences – includes astronomy, biology, chemistry, physics, botany, archaeology, zoology, geology, Earth sciences, etc. ● Formal sciences – includes mathematics, logic, statistics, etc.

Meet Haman Glendon: BSc in Biology 2019 Now: Co-founder, Health-Bridge, Translation in the emergency room “My company's objective is to help patients facing language barriers when accessing health care, especially in emergency situations. We've developed multilingual forms with audio and visual cues for the elderly immigrant population. Right now, we're finalizing details with Sunnybrook Hospital to launch a pilot. This is a long-term project and with the help of Summer Company, we're providing marketing, video production, and language consulting services for businesses.”

MEET PHILIP-G SIMARD Glendon: BA Honours, International Studies - 2019 Now: Bilingual Program Officer, Official Languages Act Education Program, Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) “During my time at the Consulate General of France, I was responsible for communications but I also got to work on different projects pertaining to cultural cooperation between Canada and France. All in all, my internship was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had as a student.”
