• IMovie was and essential program for my
coursework.
• This is because its where all the editing is done
for the documentary.
• It has also taught me a lot about what goes into
creating the footage that we watching everyday
on television or film.
• Editing footage as a group
• I have learnt a great deal about the process of
editing footage.
3. IndesIgn
• Inserting the
measurements for the
appropriate advert
size.
• How I used it:
• Indesign was the software that my
group and I used to construct our
Ancillary Tasks.
• We were able to construct both the
Double Page Spreads and Newspaper
Adverts for each draft.
• Editing as a group.
• We then saved these drafts into pdf files.
4. Ipad
• The ipad was extremely useful this as it allowed me to save
images of inspiration Double Page Spreads or Newspaper
Adverts straight off of the internet.
• I also used the ipad to take the ancillary photos for the first two
drafts of the coursework.
5. PowerPoint
• PowerPoint is one of the most useful programs in my time
studying Media.
• It has allowed me to execute my research and planning in an
organised manner.
• All of my presentations for work are done on PowerPoint.
6. Blogger
• Blogger has allowed me to present all of my research and
planning.
• It has also allowed me to organise all of my presentations in
chronological order.
• Blogger has also taught me a lot about time management and the
importance of keeping to deadlines with my work.
7. Prezi
• Prezi came in really useful for his years coursework.
• As we were struggling with our animations for the documentary,
we made Prezi presentations as a substitute.
• It is also an alternative way to present you research and planning
to PowerPoint.
