When I STUDENTS?discovered that DE Zuni Elementary Magnet School is a communication and technology magnet school. Our staff and students spent the ABOUTdeveloped the DENspecifically to help teachers past spring learning about using Discovery Education in grades K-5. Throughout the process I had the chance to APSdo exactly that I just had to witness wonderful sparks of learning happening, with both teachers and students having big “AH HAH” moments. One ofget involved! They students confidently sat with anyone who walked through the door. They were articulate in explaining and demonstrating and they provided many people with hands-on opportunities to 90,000 learn about how Discovery was changing the work they did in their classrooms. Each and every one of those students walked away from the experience telling us that they really enjoyed having the opportunity to share what they’ve learned to an authentic audience that included peers, parents and community members. In fact, many of them continued to ask for other ways to share their learning and support others throughout the rest of the school year.
