2. Analysis of the Film Pitch Perfect trailer;
The trailer of pitch perfect is about the girl who is a singer but doesn’t want to be noticed that she can sing.
She does go to the audiences and she does the cup song...it brings the attention of the audience with all the
laughter in the trailer and how much you get to see and that you just want to see more of the movie.
The genre is musical comedy. The unique selling point is the acts and singing I would say the target audience
is for a 15-16 year old people the music is all very up beat and a fast tempo. there aren't very many effects
except the way they practice with there music.
There are only a few camera angles there are up looking down and down looking up are the main camera
angles. Many parts of the film trailers there are always the characters.
The poster indicates that the film is dedicated to young teenage girls and the cover line says ‘get pitch
slapped’ which is another word that has been edited to fit in with the film, showing us the film is about
singing, which already automatically categorises the gender very well. Every girl has there personalities set
in this film and the trailer.
The trailer gets a lot of good comments and when people do make sligh comments people just over rate the
film even more than what it should be.
