  1. 1. Silk sarees are worn by women across India. You can find different types of sarees that is sold as silk products in grey market. The best way to avoid purchasing counterfeited sarees is to get acquainted with different kinds of silks used for making sarees in India.
  2. 2. Mulberry silk Mulberry is considered as the best quality of silk. The material is taken from the cocoon of the silkworms feeding on leaves of mulberry tree. Leading producers of this type of silk are West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir.
