  3. 3. EXCLUSIVE POWERS Exclusive Powers refer to the separation of powers between state and federal governments.
  4. 4. EXCLUSIVE POWERS For instance the state government can only issue licenses, and the federal government can only print money.
  5. 5. National Powers: State Powers: • Print Money • Issue Licenses • International Trade • Regulate Businesses • Make Treaties • Conduct Elections • Declare War • Establish Local • Provide an Army and Navy Governments • Take Measures for Public Health and Safety • Make Laws
  6. 6. CONCURRENT POWERS The Concurrent Powers are those powers that both the National Government & the States Government posses and excersices.
  7. 7. CONCURRENT POWERS For instance the Concurrent Powers include: • Collect Taxes • Define Crimes & Set Punishments for them • To Condemn • To take private property for public use
