  1. 1. A man who wanted to know everything
  2. 2. He is one of the most famous Italian personalities during Renaissance. Leonardo da Vinci
  3. 3. He was born in 1452 in Vinci. He was a painter, architect, sculptor, musician, engineer, inventor and anatomist.
  4. 4. Leonardo set out to find everything that a man could know: “I will do things that in the past no one has ever dared to do, I would think in a new way, I will give life to something new”.
  5. 5. Leonardo studied also the anatomy of the human body. Dissecting cadavers he could understand most of the functions of the organs of our body.
  6. 6. The last Supper “L’ultima cena” represents the moment in which Christ said to the disciples that one of them had betrayed him.
  7. 7. Mona Lisa “La Gioconda” is probably the most famous painting in the world, it represents Lisa del Giocondo whose expression is often described as enigmatic.
  8. 8. Lady with an Ermine “Dama con l’ermellino” represents a young lady named Cecilia Gallerani holding a small ermine which represents her purity.
