Provide a mechanism which allows all entities with decision making responsibilities access to the most current situational information for proper analysis and effective resource placement and management.   12. 12. <ul><li>Plug in the expertise of the Georgia GIS Coordinating Committee (GISCC) and the agencies represented within </li></ul><ul><li>Establish data sharing agreements (public and private partners) </li></ul><ul><li>Assemble work groups by ESF / Discipline to advise GEMA / Contractors on what additional information would enhance situational awareness (DATA CALL) </li></ul><ul><li>Identify sources of GIS Support for the State Operations Center during disasters </li></ul><ul><li>GEMA will be hiring a coordinator/GIS Planner for this system in the next 30 – 90 days </li></ul><ul><li>GEMA will become a more active and consistent member of the GISCC </li></ul><ul><li>What can GEMA do to assist the GIS Community through this project? </li></ul>Georgia Online Disaster Awareness Geospatial System Moving Forward
