With over 30 years purchasing and logistics and inventory control knowledge with major international
drilling contractors and service companies onshore and offshore located in the UK and overseas. Extensive
knowledge of drilling capital equipment & associate drilling materials. IE various sizes of drill pipes, marine
risers, and blowout preventers, general drilling consumables on mud pumps and draw works. Experienced
gained in operational shipyard upgrading projects and 5 yearly periodic classification, also worked on new
build semi-submersible and deep-water drilling ships in Singapore jspl shipyards residential positions and
many years as offshore materials man on board semi-submersible and jack up drilling rigs. Other duties
included interfacing with client representatives onshore and offshore for supply boat and helicopter logistics
yard and warehouse duties onshore storage and preservation of all drilling equipment, liaising with shipping
agents, customs brokers and freight forwarding companies in relation to shipping, transport, handling and
customs clearance procedures.
