July 2013 - New products from General Mills

  1. 1. Nature Valley Protein Granola makes it easier to enjoy the taste of Nature Valley anytime, anywhere – sprinkled on yogurt, enjoyed with milk or to satisfy mid-day cravings. Available in Oats ‘n Honey and Oats ‘n Dark Chocolate varieties.
  2. 2. Yoplait co-developed Yoplait Greek with consumers every step of the way – from its delicious blended fruit and yogurt taste to its flavors. Yoplait Greek is a cup of strained, blended Greek yogurt and fruit available in six flavors ─Blueberry, Coconut, Pineapple, Strawberry Raspberry, Tangerine and Vanilla and will be available across the U.S. in August.
  3. 3. Chex welcomes Vanilla Chex as the latest addition to its family of gluten- free cereals. Vanilla Chex is made with 10 grams of whole grain per serving and has 120 calories and eight grams of sugar per serving.
  4. 4. These tasty new protein bars meet 3 p.m. cravings head on. The latest Fiber One Protein bar has peanut butter and roasted peanuts wrapped in a chocolate flavored coating.
  5. 5. General Mills is re-launching its iconic Helper brand with new products, packaging, marketing and more. Ultimate Helper will launch in four flavors – Three Cheese Marinara, Creamy Stroganoff, Creamy Parmesan and Cheddar Broccoli. This premium line includes a pouch of sauce – a first for Helper. Other launches include two Chicken Helper varieties – Crispy Cheddar Bacon Chicken and Crispy Ranch Chicken.
  6. 6. The successful Fiber One 90 Calorie Brownie line is expanding with Fiber One 90 Calorie Lemon Bars and Cinnamon Coffee Cake bars. Each bar has an indulgent taste, a soft, moist texture, and luscious drizzled topping.
  7. 7. Totino’s is rolling out Totino’s BOLD rolls -- Jalapeno Popper and Buffalo Chicken style rolls. Easy to find in the freezer aisle and microwaveable, Totino’s BOLD rolls are great for game day snacking.
  8. 8. Yoplait is building on the tremendous success of Yoplait Greek 100 – on pace to exceed $140 million in first year retail sales – with the launch of Yoplait Greek 100 Multipacks in two flavors – Vanilla and Strawberry Banana.
  9. 9. Pillsbury is launching Heat-N-Go frozen breakfast items for the morning rush – two flavors of mini pancakes: Maple Burst’n and Blueberry, and mini waffles in a Maple Madness flavor. The mini pancakes and mini waffles are sold in pouches that you microwave for 30 seconds and then can take with you, without a mess.
  10. 10. Food Should Taste Good will introduce Blue Corn and Yellow Corn Dipping Chips. The chips are made with stone ground yellow corn and organic blue corn, nutty flax seed, and quinoa to create a delicious and versatile tortilla chip.
  11. 11. Now, gluten-sensitive consumers who crave pies, cookies and pizza made with Pillsbury products can enjoy three gluten-free refrigerated dough offerings hitting supermarket shelves. Pillsbury’s new gluten-free products include: pie and pastry dough, chocolate chip cookie dough, and thin-crust pizza dough.
  12. 12. Perfect for busy, on- the-go breakfast skippers, BFAST is a breakfast shake with the nutrition of a bowl of cereal and milk, including 8 grams of protein, 8 grams of whole grain and 3 grams of fiber. The shelf-stable, drinkable, breakfast is available in chocolate, vanilla and berry.
  13. 13. Betty Crocker and Hershey fans can experience a new line of cookie mixes, cupcake mixes and frostings made with iconic flavors including Hershey’s chocolate, Reese’s and Almond Joy.
  14. 14. The delicious taste of Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme is debuting in the breakfast cereal category with new Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme ready- to-eat cereal from Big G. The cereal is made from 100 percent whole grains with 14 grams of whole grain per serving (at least 48 grams recommended daily) and contains 9 grams of sugar per serving.
  15. 15. Old El Paso’s Stand ‘N Stuff Soft Flour Tortillas are a new first-of-its- kind soft flour tortilla that stands up – making it easy to fill and eat with no need to roll up. Old El Paso Mexican Cooking Sauces are three easy-to-use sauces that can be incorporated into almost any Mexican dish to add complex and bold flavors. The packaging also includes recipe inspiration for a dish that can be made with each sauce.
  16. 16. Nature Valley is expanding to a new format with the launch of Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares, available in Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Brown Sugar flavors. The squares pair well with coffee, tea or juice.
  17. 17. Old El Paso is making its debut in the frozen aisle through eight new two-serve frozen entrées including Shredded Beef Burritos, Chicken Burritos, Steak Quesadillas, Chicken Quesadillas, Shredded Beef Enchiladas, Chicken Enchiladas, Steak Fajitas and Chicken Fajitas.
  18. 18. Betty Crocker is adding two new gluten free mixes to its lineup of four existing baking mixes available for consumers looking to avoid gluten. The new products are Betty Crocker Gluten Free Sugar Cookie Mix and Betty Crocker Gluten Free All-Purpose Rice Flour Blend.
  19. 19. LÄRABAR is adding to its lineup this summer. LÄRABAR über bars will add Sticky Bun and Coconut Macaroon flavors in natural channel stores in the U.S. and a Baklava flavor nationally. LÄRABAR ALT will introduce Lemon Pound Cake, Apple Turnover, Pumpkin Pie and Peanut Butter Cookie bars nationally.
  20. 20. Betty Crocker – the number-one name in brownies – is launching a Caramel Brownie this summer exclusively in the U.S. convenience store channel.
  21. 21. In Europe we’re introducing Häagen- Dazs Secret Sensations ice cream in pint sizes. The successful minicup version of Secret Sensations ─ including a heart of liquid sauce ─ originally launched in 2011.
  22. 22. General Mills doubled its presence in Latin America with the 2012 acquisition of Yoki. The brand just launched Kit Fácil dinner kits in Brazil, combining Yoki seasonings and side dishes into a convenient kit.
