  3. 3. ENTRY DETAILS: THE CHALLENGE Ever wondered what you could do if you had all the power in the world? If not that, then at least the power to make people laugh? The event was all about the perfect amalgam of humor and power. Thus, High on Power was formulated! High roped in two of India’s best stand up comedians for an event filled with fun, frolic and of course laughter.
  4. 4. OBJECTIVE The objective of the entered work was to take the most influential world leaders and translate their traits into cocktails! Each concocted cocktail was based on their personalities, their claim to fame and how their image is portrayed by the world media. Hence the event was baptized as “High on Power” Cocktail festival.
  5. 5. CREATIVE SOLUTION The best kind of pain is when you laugh so hard that your tummy hurts. When politics is combined with a bit of humor the result can be outrageously hilarious. Both of this with an exquisite tailor made cocktail menu and you know you are bound to have a good time. We got Sundeep Rao and Sorabh Pant, two of Bangalore’s favorite stand up comedians to give their take on Highly Politically Incorrect.
  6. 6. 1) Branding High On Power Logo We decided to give High Logo a powerful makeover. Power is all about being on top, so we implemented this idea. How? By placing two tall cocktail glasses connected by the classic High red dash. The logo was used for all the Facebook posts and acted as an identity solely dedicated to the event.Thus branding itself as an event.
  7. 7. 2) PRINT All the print material had the ten world leaders featured with a drink in their hand. The drinks were in the colour of the classic High red which made it stand out all the more and also emphasized the drinks.
  8. 8. MENU Ten world leaders, ten personalities, all translated into ten stunning cocktails. Simple! The concept menu had all the caricatured leaders with the drink name and a brief description of the tailor made drink. The menu was a simple minimalistic print with the brand logo placed in the center.
  9. 9. TICKET The buzz for the event was heightened all the more when tickets were out for sale for the stand up comedy show by Sundeep Rao and Sorabh Pant. The show was named “Highly Politically Incorrect” and the tickets were sold on bookmyshow.com. It was a complete sell out and the show was a huge success.

  11. 11. 3) DIGITAL Involvement from the audience was maximized by having quizzes and asking them to guess the political leader with the help of a certain clue.
  12. 12. Creatives were also made with bobble head caricatures of the world leaders with a quote referring to the image. The whole idea was to give a light twist to the serious side of politics.
  13. 13. 4) Event HIGH Ultra Lounge hosted an unforgettable evening where Guru, the mixologist turned ten world leaders into cocktails for the HIGH on Power – cocktail festival. It was either a test of our sobriety or sense of humour. I’m sure we would have failed either ways because they added Sandeep Rao and Sorabh Pant to the mix, as if we didn’t have enough to build up the euphoria and push us off the edge!
  14. 14. 5) PUBLIC RELATIONS The word spread like wild fire thanks to the outreach obtained by the bloggers across the city. It was a fun filled evening where bloggers were given the Power sampler of the ten drinks. They were asked to guess which leader the drink impersonated. There were numerous blogs and tweets about the event which proved that it was massive hit!
  15. 15. The Result The event was a massive hit which managed to attract large crowds to the lounge and tickled every funny bone that was present, while the cocktails got everybody high on power. Guru Prashant, Director of bar operations was highly appreciated for the beautifully crafted drinks.
