We set our minds on the Full Moon. The focus was on developing attractive visuals and copy that did justice to the theme. Research was conducted on the Ko Pha Ngan Full Moon Party to understand the major elements that made up the party. We used neon elements, common in the Ko Pha Ngan party, in some of our creatives.

  2. 2. THE CHALLENGE Ko Pha Ngan is an island in Thailand, well known for its monthly Full Moon Party. Every month, thousands of people make their way to the island to enjoy a dance and music festival, held with the full moon in the sky. The party is known to be a very colorful and bright affair with features such as neon lights and neon body paints. Alcohol is served in buckets and the choice of music usually includes Billboard Top 40 Hits, House Remixes and Electronic Music. High Ultra Lounge wanted to hold a similar party for Bangalore’s party-goers, and being a venue 421 feet high, it was the perfect spot to catch the full moon. For the same, High Ultra Lounge required us to create social media and print creatives, that would promote the party and generate interest. Note: High Ultra Lounge has hosted four Full Moon parties. We were responsible for the creatives of all these parties.
  3. 3. THE APPROACH Full Moon Party 2015 We set our minds on the Full Moon. The focus was on developing attractive visuals and copy that did justice to the theme. Research was conducted on the Ko Pha Ngan Full Moon Party to understand the major elements that made up the party. We used neon elements, common in the Ko Pha Ngan party, in some of our creatives. The Full Moon is also known to exude a very mystical aura. We replicated that aura throughout our creatives.
  4. 4. THE IMPLEMENTATION Full Moon Party Nov 2015
  5. 5. Central Visual Mnemonic We created a mnemonic for the Full Moon party that was very minimalistic in nature, capturing the theme of ‘full moon’ perfectly without too many elements. The mnemonic was used for all the collaterals and acted as an identity solely dedicated to the event. Branding
  6. 6. Digital Facebook Teasers Instead of directly announcing the party, we decided to start off with a few teasers. The visuals we used had an enchanting quality to them, perfect for capturing the attention of the audience.
  7. 7. Digital Facebook Event Details Post The High Full Moon Party had neon accessories, similar to the original Full Moon party (Ko Pha Ngan). We brought in that element to the Facebook creative by using a bright and vibrant, multicoloured neon background. The central focus was given to the mnemonic and the event details.
  8. 8. Digital Facebook Timeline Cover We created a timeline cover where the central mnemonic was given the main focus, supported by event details.
  9. 9. Print Standee We carried forward the social media creatives to print, with the aim of creating a strong recall value. The central mnemonic was used as the main focus point, supported by event information.
  10. 10. THE APPROACH Full Moon Party July 2014 July is a month in which Bangalore experiences lovely monsoon weather. The same month, High Ultra Lounge had scheduled a Full Moon Party, inspired by the original full moon party held at the Kho Pha Ngang island in Thailand. When working on the creatives for the same, we decided to add the monsoon element to the Full Moon Theme, as rain was on the mind of every Bangalorean, and hence would act as a good communication angle.

  12. 12. Digital Facebook Event Details Post When creating this Facebook post, we kept in mind the monsoon element, central mnemonic and main event details. The result is a minimalistic yet striking creative that caught the eye of Facebook followers.
  13. 13. Digital Facebook Timeline Cover The timeline cover used the same visual treatment as the Facebook post. The copy however took a naughty turn, which helped grab the attention of youngsters.
