User Centered Design: do research and statistics, use persona’s Dutch Webguidelines : building quality and accessibility of the frontend Front-end speed : for usability and findability Ease-of-use : for editors, working in 13 departments on multiple locations Open Data/Creative Commons : for re-use, our website is ‘just one channel’… Flexibility : for 13 departments with different needs Whats next? Mobile web Open Data / Open Content e-Participation/social media and more… 
  5. 5. Our Hippo thoughts… <ul><li>Deployments: every three weeks with big repositories, this can take >24 hours… </li></ul><ul><li>Speed : we need best practices for slow HST2 queries </li></ul><ul><li>UI-design : we need better interfaces for editors </li></ul>

  7. 7. We would like to have  : ‘ Hippo Management Tools’ – Mission statement (fade-in Star Trek tune  ) – “ This is the HMT1. Her mission: to help us manage repositories, cms and sites, explore strange behaviours, to help those in need with production systems, to boldly let us use them and go where no cms has gone before.”
