2. Bar code system
The bar code system is an identification technology wherein there is
placement of computer-readable codes on items, cartoons and containers in
the form of grouping of parallel bars (usually blocks) of different widths
separated by light spaces (usually white),again, of different widths.
It facilitates speedier flow of logistical information such as product
identification, movement details, etc. with lesser probability of error.

5. R.F.I.D.
R.F.I.D. means radio frequency identification technology.
Automatic identification technology.
RFID uses radio waves to wirelessly transfer the identity of a
product or a person.
The purpose of RFID is to transfer data and provide information
regarding –
The location of a product, its price, its date of purchase.
Personal information.

6. RFID system consists of tags, readers and computer system.
Tags consist of computer microchip and an antenna. The antenna
helps scanners read the RFID tags.
