Bartholomew <ul><li>His name is usually connected with Nathanael. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>From the ninth century, many scholars believe Bartholomew and Nathanael are the same person. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>This observation is based on John 21.2. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The names of Philip and Bartholomew are continually linked. </li></ul></ul>
