An example of non conventional water resources management on the island of Kea• a pilot rainwater collection system in a branch on Kea Island• a traditional Cycladic water saving technique• rainwater is collected from the building’s flat roof• stored in a reservoir located outside the building• pumped into the WC, where most of the water is consumed

EMAS certification• In 2011 the Bank joined the European EMAS Register and was certified with ISO 14001.• The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a voluntary environmental management tool for companies to evaluate, report and improve their environmental performance.• Is the only Bank in Greece certified under EMAS for all the branches and all the administration buildings.
