Organizations need to continue to innovate in order to thrive, particularly in a disruptive market with new entrants and increased competition. Increasingly this requires the development and trialing of new ways of working rather than off the shelf solutions. Heathrow Airports Limited (HAL) is a successful business that understands how to co-create with partners in order to help innovate and grow. In this session, HAL and Fujitsu tell the story of how organizations and technology partners can work together to test new thinking and address challenges that are indelibly linked to business strategy and commercial value. This requires a commitment for a new style of customer/supplier relationship, a framework for co-creation and access to a blend of business and technology expertise.

  19. 19. Classification: Confidential Classification: Confidential Prove - Working Together Having Fujitsu staff with airside passes and knowledge of the airport helped a lot. We worked as a single team to baseline and provide positive correlation of the data

Classification: Confidential Classification: Confidential Prove - Results We estimate that it could achieve savings of 12 tonnes of CO2 and 4% reduction in NOx per year. • Trialled in 2 locations • We achieved a total run time accuracy over the trial of approximately 70% • This resulted in much more data than the 1% of movements currently recorded.
