  2. 2. USO Se utiliza para informar a una persona de lo que ha dicho otra
  3. 3. Directo-Indirecto Para pasar de estilo DIRECTO (”The chips taste great”, says Sarah) a un estilo INDIRECTO (Sarah said that the chips tasted great)
  4. 4. Se realizan tres pasos <ul><li>Se cambia de PRESENTE a PASADO
  5. 5. Se cambia el sujeto según el hablante
  6. 6. Se coloca la partícula ”that” que significa ”que” (tambiém ésta se puede omitir) </li></ul>
  7. 7. 1) Se cambia de presente a pasado <ul>DIRECTO: ”I really fancy Mark” said Betty INDIRECTO: Betty said that she really fancied Mark </ul>
  8. 8. 2)Se cambia el sujeto DIRECTO: Matthew said: ” I never buy Cds INDIRECTO: Matthew said he never bought CDs
  9. 9. 3) That DIRECTO: Marta says:” I like cycling” INDIRECTO: Marta said (that) she liked cycling
  10. 10. Say and tell <ul><li>Say
  11. 11. Sí: Marc said that he was happy.
  12. 12. No: Marc said me he was happy.
  13. 13. Tell
  14. 14. Sí: Helen told me that she was worried.
  15. 15. No: Helen told to me that she was worried.
  16. 16. No: Helen told that she was worried. </li></ul>
