    2. 2. House PointsThe Frog Virtual Learning Environment constantly inspires the schoolto develop new ideas and provides the ideal way of bringing theseideas to life. It provides the ideal ICT solution for sharing our rewardssystem with staff, students and parents.On the VLE we display the current House Point totals so that individualstudents are aware of the number of points they have achieved. Wealso display the house totals to encourage a certain amount of housecompetition.

House PointsIn a successful attempt to improve theachievement and motivation of boys, whoup until now did not fully engage with theRewards program, we have developed anumber of characters that the students cancollect once they have achieved therequired number of House Points. This hasproved very popular, especially amongst theboys who now achieve equal numbers ofHouse Points to the girls for the first time.
    4. 4. OfSTEDAfter a very successful OfSTED inspection late in 2010, The Abbey School althoughproud of their achievements had areas to work on.One of these was Global Awareness. Using Frog the school developed a specialist areato promote and embed Global Awareness within PSHE.
