Environmental Solutions PFAS treatment of Water The PerfluorAd Technology • PerfluorAd is a liquid flocculant. • Dosing in a reactor. • Based on differences in electrical charges between the PFAS molecules. • Creation of micro-flocs between PerfluorAd and PFAS molecules. • PFAS flocs removed by filtration/precipitation.
  14. 14. • Proven Technology & ITRC proved. • Multiple successful projects in Germany. • HMVT carried out a first successful project in The Netherlands: ‘Cruqiusweg Amsterdam’. • PerfluorAd removes the bulk of the PFAS (up to >98%). • No negative influence by DOC or other pollutants. • Activated carbon only needed for polishing.   16. 16. Environmental Solutions PFAS treatment of Water PerfluorAd Reference ‘Cruqiusweg Amsterdam’ Project outline • Groundwater from dewatering during excavation. • Groundwater is collected in a big storage tank. • Flow rate 1,5-2,0 m³/hr. • Discharge limit for PFAS was 1 µg/l.
